CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) is a vendor-neutral certification that validates the knowledge and skills required for cybersecurity analysts. The certification is designed to test the candidates' ability to detect and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents.

The certification is ideal for individuals who are starting their careers in cybersecurity or IT security, or for those who are looking to advance their existing skills. The certification is recognized by organizations worldwide and is an excellent way to demonstrate proficiency in cybersecurity.

To obtain the CompTIA CySA+ certification, candidates must pass a single exam, CS0-002. The exam consists of a maximum of 85 questions and must be completed within 165 minutes. The exam covers a wide range of topics, including threat management, vulnerability management, cyber incident response, security architecture and toolsets, and compliance and assessment.  The new version, CS-003 will be released in 2023.
